Painting Foreman
TASCH Painting Company is currently seeking an experienced Painting Foreman for new construction and renovation projects.

Position Summary:
Painting Foreman performs supervisory tasks, project coordination, materials and equipment procurement and any related tasks under general supervision of the Project Manager. Painting Foreman must have good demonstrated leadership and communication skills. Also must have product knowledge in all aspects of Commercial Painting including but not limited to spraying and spray machines, scaffold towers and staging, safety requirements, reading blueprints and specifications and the ability to plan day-to-day operations. The individual should be skilled at managing crews between 2-30 painters and helpers on several projects. May be required to procure materials and arrange for delivery and secure storage of same. Painting Foreman also performs the full range of highly skilled painting and finishing tasks at a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Individuals in this classification also may provide instruction and lead direction to lead painters, semi-skilled painters and unskilled helpers as job conditions may require.

Job Description:
Includes, but not limited to:

  1. Works on and from ladders, platforms and scaffolds as jobs may require.
  2. Provides instruction for the erection of scaffold towers, ladders and other staging equipment.
  3. Procures and delivers project materials and equipment.
  4. Maintains a safe and clean working environment for project duration.
  5. Mixes paint components and matches colors per specifications.
  6. Applies paint with a brush, roller or airless spray equipment as required.
  7. Takes proper care of all materials, tools and equipment.
  8. Maintain daily logs, accident reports as required.
  9. Create task lists, project schedules, organization of receipts and payroll hours.
  10. Insure strict adherence to company policies and protocols for safety and quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Ten years of full-time, satisfactory experience as a Painting Foreman acquired within the last ten years; or,
  2. At least five years of experience as described in (1) and sufficient, full-time, satisfactory Lead Painter experience to make up a total of ten years of acceptable experience.
  3. For appointment to certain positions, candidates will be required to possess a Motor Vehicle Driver’s License valid in the State of Louisiana.  This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

Lead Painter
TASCH Painting Company is currently seeking an experienced Lead Painter for new construction and renovation projects.

Lead Painters perform the full range of highly skilled painting and finishing tasks at a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Individuals in this classification also may provide instruction and lead direction to semi-skilled painters and unskilled helpers as job conditions may require.

  3. Uses pressure washing equipment on various surfaces.
  4. Prepares, fills and primes various surfaces for new coatings.

Painter Helper
TASCH Painting Company is currently seeking an experienced Painter Helper for new construction and renovation projects.

Position Summary:
Painter Helper performs painting and related tasks under the direct supervision of the Lead Painter and the general supervision of the Foreman. Painter Helpers perform the full range of semi-skilled painting and preparation tasks at a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Individuals in this classification also may provide assistance to other trades as job conditions may require.

Job Description:
Includes, but not limited to:

  1. Works on and from ladders, platforms and scaffolds as jobs may require.
  2. Erects ladders and scaffolds as jobs may require.
  3. Uses pressure washing equipment on various surfaces.
  4. Prepares, fills and primes various surfaces for new coatings.
  5. Applies paint with a brush, roller as required.
  6. Takes proper care of all materials, tools and equipment.
  7. Maintains clean jobsite conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. One year of full-time, satisfactory experience as a Painter Helper acquired within the last two years; or,
  2. At least three years of sufficient, full-time, satisfactory experience in an employment role.
  3. For appointment to certain positions, candidates will be required to possess a Motor Vehicle Driver’s License valid in the State of Louisiana.  This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.

Caulking Technician
TASCH Painting Company is currently seeking an experienced Caulking Technician for new construction and renovation projects.

Position Summary:
Caulking Technician performs caulking and related tasks under general supervision of the Foreman. Caulking Technician performs the full range of highly skilled caulking and sealing tasks at a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Individuals in this classification also may provide assistance to painters, semi-skilled painters and unskilled helpers as job conditions may require.

Job Description:

Includes, but not limited to:

  1. Works on and from ladders, platforms and scaffolds as jobs may require.
  2. Erects ladders and scaffolds as jobs may require.
  3. Operates motorized lifts.
  4. Uses pressure washing equipment on various surfaces.
  5. Removes and replaces caulking, sealants and backer rod per specifications.
  6. Uses bulk guns, electric guns and electric removal tools.
  7. Works independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Takes proper care of all materials, tools and equipment.
  9. Keeps work records as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Five years of full-time, satisfactory experience as a Caulking Tehnician acquired within the last ten years; or,
  2. At least three years of experience as described in (1) and sufficient, full-time, satisfactory experience to make up a total of five years of acceptable experience.
  3. For appointment to certain positions, candidates will be required to possess a Motor Vehicle Driver’s License valid in the State of Louisiana.  This license must be maintained for the duration of employment.
